WHAT I DO
I am a confident communicator, persuasive writer and creative researcher driven by a strong innate curiosity about people. A sociologist by training, I am driven to improve people's lives through research, and I'm especially interested in participatory methods, co-design, design research, service design and UX research.
In 2019 I completed a PhD in Sociology, and today I am a freelance researcher and Policy Analyst at the Work Foundation. I am able to apply my creative mind, rigorous and innovative research skills and experience demonstrating impact to help organisations:

RESEARCH
- Talented researcher with over 8 years' experience in qualitative and mixed methods research.
- Qualitative expert in in-depth and semi-structured interviews, ethnographic observations, case studies, and policy analysis.
- Growing expertise in participatory and creative methods including co-design workshops using Miro.
- Experience designing and administering surveys and impact evaluations for musicians, students and segments of the public.
- Internationally experienced with degrees in sociology, human geography and creative industries from the USA and UK.
- Knowledge of different impact evaluation frameworks and evaluation processes for the arts and social businesses.
- Experience developing impact evaluations from scratch and producing case studies.
- Able to communicate complex ideas clearly to a wide array of audiences through presentations, blogs, reports and articles.
- Knowledge of UK policy and government with an ability to tailor outputs to a policy audience.
- Leading through strategic planning, chairing meetings and facilitating panels.
- Able to run projects to time and budget with a variety of stakeholders.
